Our client an NHS Organisation, based in London seeks to recruit an interim Senior Programme Manager to lead and rollout a Trust wide large scale change programme on an interim or basis for an initial period of up to 3 months.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide overall programme management of key deliverables and associated staff.
  • Take direct responsibility for the scoping, budget, planning, and implementation of programme and project deliverables.
  • Develop and implement the communication and engagement plan, identifying and addressing stakeholder interests.
  • Manage multiple stakeholder group in a complex environment, building consensus around the aims of the programme and benefits of delivery.
  • Provide direction and guidance on development of the programme to the team, ensuring all project managers are clear about roles and responsibilities and contribution to the overall success of delivery.
  • Manage the programme budget working with the finance team, including regular reporting for expenditure vs budget and forecasting.
  • Oversee risk and issue management for the programme, ensuring update to date reporting, mitigations are in place and escalation as required.
  • Establish a clear programme plan with detailed delivery milestones for all project workstreams against which progress is tracked and reported.

Key Requirements:

  • Prince 2 Practitioner or equivalent.
  • Recent experience in leading complex projects or programmes involving significant change.
  • Extensive experience working within the NHS.
