Our client an NHS organisation, based in the South East seeks to recruit an Interim Senior Operational Estates Manager for an initial period of 3 months.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage the provision of Hard FM services across all sites, according to contractual and commercial requirements. Including contract and commercial management, people management and ensuring that the service is of a sector leading standard.
  • Act as Responsible Person/Authorised Person for Legionella, LV Electrical, Lifts, Fire, Asbestos Management, Medical Gas Pipeline Systems and Estates Health and Safety.
  • Chair or be part of contract monitoring, implementation or steering groups for projects as required.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for the organisation on all contractual matters, ensuring compliant execution of contract terms, negotiation on all contract matters and variations, and evaluating and managing consistent and effective contract performance.
  • Chair Water Safety Group meetings, Electrical safety, Asbestos management and Fire safety meetings.

Key Skills Required

  • Chartered Engineer or Equivalent Qualification.
  • Significant senior management experience in an NHS Estates.
  • Significant experience of working within the facilities management profession at a senior level.
