Our client an NHS Organisation, based in the South East of England seeks to recruit an interim Risk, Health and Safety Advisor for an initial period of 8-10 weeks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the rolling out the BAME and Social Distancing Risk Assessments in Phase 1 of the programme.
  • Assisting with the implementation, monitoring and development of both the Trust's Health and Safety Management System and the risk management system.
  • Supporting the design and development and facilitation of all health and safety training to all Trust Personnel that will enable the organisation to comply with health and safety legislation.
  • Promote good health and safety and risk management practices within all clinical and non-clinical environments and assist in assessing health and safety risks relating to patients, staff and any other person affected by the Trust.
  • Provide health and safety support commensurate with your knowledge and experience and any information, instruction and training received.
  • Support actions identified and undertaken to decrease the risk of health and safety related incidents occurring and to improve outcomes in relation to patient, staff and visitor safety.
  • Support the development, monitoring, implementation and review of strategies, policies and procedures to promote and develop best practice health and safety systems for the Trust, liaising with appropriate managers and ensuring compliance with statutory responsibilities.

Key Requirements:

  • NHS experience is essential.
