Our client, an NHS organisation, based in the Midlands is seeking to recruit an Interim Corporate Affairs & Governance Manager for an initial 3-6 months.

Key responsibilities include

  • Responsible for ensuring that the Board and its Committees are properly constituted, operated, quorate, and supported, according to Standing Orders, the regulatory framework and Terms of Reference.
  • Ensure all Registers required by the Constitution or related legislation are established and maintained, and made available for public inspection along with any appropriate reports.
  • Maintain the registers of Declarations of Interest.
  • Manage the AGM process.
  • Ensure that all Terms of Reference for Committees, Sub-Committees and Programme Boards are reviewed as required.
  • Support the Trust Secretary in providing Corporate Governance information and expertise for the Trust’s Annual Report, Board Self-Certification and the Annual Governance Statement.

Requirements

  • Demonstrable knowledge of Board & corporate administration processes.
  • Experience of working within the NHS or public sector.
  • Detailed knowledge of NHS Foundation Trusts & related organisations statutory obligations.
