Our client, an NHS organisation, based in the East of England, is seeking to recruit a HR Advisor for a 12 month Fixed Term Contract.

Key responsibilities

  • In conjunction with the HR Business Partner, work in partnership with Divisional Teams, contributing to the achievement of Service and Corporate objectives.
  • Providing professional HR advice to all levels of managers across the full range of employee relations issues including grievance, discipline, capability, absence, performance management, redeployment, dignity at work (harassment and bullying), in line with Trust policy and employment legislation covering all disciplines of staff.
  • Interpret, advise and support the Division in the interpretation and application of terms and conditions of service, employment law and Human Resources policy and procedures.
  • To coach, support and advise managers during complex investigations in relation to all aspects of employment practices.
  • Plan, co-ordinate, advise on and be involved as appropriate in Disciplinary and Grievance hearings for all staff groups.
  • Autonomously manage individual employee relations cases adhering to broad Trust and HR policies and legislation.
  • Work with Division managers to ensure appropriate attendance and sickness absence issues are managed with support from occupational Health.

Requirements

  • Good understanding of HR best practice.
  • Experience of dealing with a full range of complex employee relations and organisational change issues.
  • Sound and up to date knowledge of employment law.
