Key responsibilities include;

  • Responsibility for critically analysing all incidents and communicating trends and recommendations to the divisional teams, enabling staff to be actively involved in the incident reporting and reviewing process, promoting an open and just culture;
  • Ensuring the approach to Divisional risk management is in line with the Risk Management Strategy in collaboration with the Divisional Triumvirate and all divisional teams;
  • Assisting in the coordination of and preparation for CQC and other external inspections, including any ‘mock’ reviews liaising with key personnel;
  • Supporting Divisional leads in collating evidence to demonstrate compliance. Working with relevant leads to develop action plans to develop areas identified within ‘mock’/real CQC inspections;
  • Ensuring that the Division maintains accurate and timely Quality Governance records, maintaining quality systems and processes.

Key requirements:

  • Significant NHS experience.
  • Knowledge of CQC requirements.
  • Understanding of Risk Management processes.
  • Experience of assessing quality and risk.
