Interim Communications Officer (homeworking)

South West, £210 per day

Key Responsibilities include:

• Developing and implementing plans for various internal and external projects;
• Seeking opportunities for regional and national media coverage;
• Providing progress reports on campaigns to ensure effective departmental communications;
• Managing the execution and evaluation of communications campaigns;
• Writing engaging copy for a range of channels and audiences;
• Utilising a range of methods for communications and engagement with key stakeholders, including media relations, social media and internal comms channels;
• Managing filming requests, arranging for the supervision of film crews when necessary;
• Communicating highly complex, sensitive or contentious information ensuring audiences understand the implications of this information and the affect it could have on the reputation of the organisation.
