developing a Programme for delivery of the approved development schemes linked to the Estate Strategy and Business Plan.
utilising the CAD packages to design, plan and develop appropriate improvement schemes.
being a key member of the Estates team providing information, designs and organising improvement works.
playing an active role in drafting and implementing the Estates business plan to achieve Trust business and strategic goals.
analysing complex issues involving the use of the built environment, challenging assumptions and current practice and become involved in the development of operational policies.
briefing specialist consultants and contractors, manage the tender and construction processes – with internal clients and nominated external consultants using appropriate methods.
assisting in the development and communicating multi-stranded project, design, financial, contractual policies and information to Board Senior Managers and contractors.
making judgements across a wide range of Estates Projects issues taking into account legislation, H&S, conflicting demands, finance, content of expert advice on Estates matters (including projects and strategy) and formulation of long-term Estates development options.
