Interim SI Investigator

Our client an NHS Organisation, based in Yorkshire seeks to recruit an Interim SI Investigator for an initial period of 3 months.

Our client is happy to consider fully remote working.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Ensuring effective systems and processes for serious incident reporting and management are maintained and monitored to ensure accurate information is available to meet the internal and external reporting requirements.
• Ensure the timely provision of serious incident investigation updates, including initial reports, investigation reports and action plans.
• Critically appraise SI investigations to ensure that quality issues are identified and managed.
• Support the collation and analysis of data relating to SIs, Divisional RCAs and duty of candour by working proactively to identify trends and areas of particular risk on a daily basis.

Key Requirements:

• Experience and expertise in undertaking incident investigations using Root Cause Analysis (RCA) methodology.
• Good working knowledge and understanding of the requirements for discharging the duty of candour.
