Our client, an Private Healthcare organisation based in the South East is seeking to recruit an Commissioned Services Manager on a permanent basis.

Key responsibilities

• Lead on all aspects of public sector commissioning and partnering in a designated region.
• Partner and manage relationships with around 40 LA and NHS Commissioning organisations in your given region, prioritising the most important by the number of beds and homes we have, in order to attract and secure top-tier funding and align our care offering with local demand for care.
• Lead on the negotiation of fees and contractual terms with public sector commissioners and to secure top-tier funding.
• Build, support and influence local provider forums and care associations in order the ASC provider voice is heard in all health and social care system and procedural decisions.
• Co-ordinate and contribute to the drafting tenders to win new business.
• Lead on the review of existing contracts for operational deliverability and financial return. Renegotiate terms where needed.
• Influencing local commissioning decisions and partnering to co-produce service development alongside strategic commissioners.

Requirements

• Experience of social care contract management from either provider or commissioning side.
• Social care service development experience or experience of providing or commissioning social care.
• Knowledge of the regulations and legislation relevant to Care Homes.
