Interim IG Manager

South East, c.£300 per day

Our client, based in the South East of England region seeks to recruit an IG Manager on an interim basis for an initial period of 3 months with the view to extend.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop the Information Governance Strategy and detail any risk registers, action plans and highlight priority areas.
• Develop and roll out training programmes to managers and staff to support information governance, ensuring all members of the Trust are aware of and appreciate the importance of information governance.
• Coordinate, publicise and monitor the standards of information handling throughout the organisation, through creation of Trust wide policies, procedures and standards in line with national standards and the appropriate Healthcare Commission Standards.
• Develop and maintain Information Governance related strategies and policies.
• Act as the Data Protection Officer for the Trust, maintaining the Trust’s registration with the Information Commissioner.
• Act as subject matter expert for information governance, assisting in the investigation of incidents and breaches of Data Protection.
