Quality and Governance/Improvement Lead

South Central, £50k-£60k pa

Our client, based in the South Central region of England region seeks to recruit a Quality and Governance/Improvement Lead on a permanent basis.

This is a hybrid working role and requires the post-holder to work on site 3 days per week with 2 days homeworking.

Key Responsibilities:

• Be a champion for an open and transparent safety culture encouraging data driven action, to make sure lessons are learnt, and action is taken to prevent recurrent issues.
• Play a key role in the clinical governance group and be a key link between the group and the board of directors.
• Have expert knowledge and understanding of Care Quality Commission (CQC) standards and legislative requirements and work with our Registered Managers to ensure all guidance is being followed.
• Work with key stakeholders across the Organisation to introduce annual quality improvement plans and create Toolkits to enhance and maintain high quality patient care.

Key Requirements:

• Primary Care Experience is essential.
• Evidence of professional knowledge in Quality and Safety systems including clinical governance and risk management processes.
• Knowledge and understanding of managing serious incidents including root cause analysis techniques.
• Knowledge and understanding of CQC inspection standards.
