Radiology Services Manager

Midlands, £60k p.a.

Our client an NHS organisation, based in the Midlands seeks to recruit a Radiology Services Manager on a permanent basis.

Key responsibilities

• Manage Radiology Services ensuring services are patient focused, and meet both nationally and locally agreed standards.
• Identify opportunities for service development and change, consistent with the Trust’s priorities, and to develop and implement plans to meet them.
• Work closely with Clinical Heads of Service and Matrons across the Trust, and help deliver effective capacity management and discharge planning.
• Act as professional head of service maintaining clinical competence to practice amongst Radiographers and assistant Radiographers.
• Responsible for managing the operational performance of the Radiology (Imaging) Services.
• Monitoring and maintaining performance against key targets, and for taking corrective action when required.

Key requirements

• HCPC registered.
• Extensive experience in Radiology.
• Strong background in the management of a range of clinical services.
